Festival of Sant’Anna at Alpe Sitte

The small chapel dedicated to Saint Anne stands at Alpe Sitte (2172 m.a.s.l.) where Holy Mass is celebrated in honour of Saints Anne and Joachim, traditionally acknowledged at as the grandparents of Jesus.
Alpe Sitte is one of the marvellous panoramic areas of our valley with a northern view of the imposing Monte Rosa mountain range (from Punta Castore to the Vincent Pyramid) and a southern view of the towns of Gressoney-La-Trinité and Gressoney-Saint-Jean.
