Traditional mid-August mass on Monte Falconetta, one of the best-known mountains in Val d’Ayas. The small altar contains an Alpine hat, a prayer dedicated to eighteen Alpine soldiers who died in an accident in 1954 at the Gavia Pass and a reduced copy of the cover of the “Domenica del Corriere” which commemorates the fact.
